Purity and Harmony

Purity and Harmony explores a state of balance in which clarity, tranquillity and unity come together.

Winter provides the natural visual language for this series. The whiteness of snow evokes purity, while fjords, rocks, water, dwellings and light form relationships that create a sense of harmony.

Across the ten photographs, this harmony emerges through stillness, rhythm, light and the relationships between the different elements of the landscape. The series unfolds as a visual poem devoted to peaceful beauty and the balance of the natural world.
