“Elegance and Mystery” conveys an aura of attractivity and allure that draws attention and sparks curiosity. It entices observers to delve deeper into the enigma and to evoke complex emotions and perceptions.

In order to explore this theme, I’ve chosen the city of Paris because, to me, it represents (among other things) a blend of elegance and aesthetic beauty with an aspect of mystery. The selected subjects are famous monuments (elegance and beauty) in black and white. By revealing the forms and textures, black and white photographs emphasize the aesthetics on one hand, but they also create a particular feel, accentuated in the development process, which conveys mystery.
